Back in November last year, Japanese electronics brand Panasonic launched its Panasonic P91 budget smartphone in India with a price tag of ₹6490. Now, the company has further expanded its portfolio of smartphones in P series in India by launching the Panasonic P100.
The Panasonic P100 is a budget smartphone. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6737 quad-core processor that’s clocked at 1.25 GHz and is paired with 1 or 2 GB RAM. The P100 boots up to Android 7.0 Nougat, which though not the latest, is acceptable for a phone of this price.
That said, the Panasonic P100 sports a 5-inch display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and protection of Gorilla Glass. Above the display, there’s a 5 MP selfie camera which is accompanied by LED flash. And, for regular selfies, you get an 8 MP camera at the back.
There’s also a fingerprint scanner at the back below the primary camera, and, you can use it for different purposes like taking a photo instead of just using to unlock your smartphone.
Having said that, the Panasonic P100 comes with 16 GB of internal storage, but, you do have the option to expand the storage up to 128 GB via microSD card. And, the good news is that Panasonic P100 comes with a dedicated slot for microSD card which means you can dual SIM cards and more storage both at the same time.
The Panasonic P100 comes in four colors – Black, Blue, Dark Grey and Gold – and, it ships with a 2200 mAh battery which keeps the lights on.
