TECNO has announced the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro, the latest addition to its SPARK smartphone lineup for global markets. The new device focuses on long-term durability, high-capacity battery technology, fast charging, AI-powered photography features, and enhanced environmental protection, while maintaining a slim profile. Key highlights include MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate SoC, 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera, up to 6,000 mAh battery with 60W Super Charge, and more.
A few months ago, TECNO introduced its tone-down variant – the TECNO Spark 50 5G for the Indian market at ₹16,999, highlighting a 6,500 mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, military-grade durability, IP64 Pro rating, and more.

Among the key highlights of the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro is its battery technology. Depending on the market, the smartphone will be offered in two battery configurations:
- 5,600 mAh dual-cell battery
- 6,000 mAh single-cell battery
TECNO claims both battery variants are rated for over 1,900 charge cycles while retaining more than 80% of their original capacity, potentially extending battery health for up to six years under normal usage conditions.
The device supports 60W Super Charge technology, which can charge the battery up to 63% in 30 minutes and achieve a full charge in approximately 55 minutes. Three charging modes are available:
- Hyper Mode for maximum charging speed
- Smart Mode for balanced charging and temperature management
- Low-Temperature Mode for improved thermal protection
TECNO has also integrated bypass charging, allowing power to be delivered directly to the motherboard during gaming or streaming sessions, reducing battery stress and heat generation.
The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate SoC, which TECNO says delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 550,000 points. Memory performance is enhanced through Memory Fusion 4.0, enabling support for up to 24 GB Dynamic RAM through virtual memory expansion.
For media consumption, the smartphone features a 6.78-inch HD+ display, 120 Hz refresh rate, dual stereo speakers, and DTS Sound enhancement. The combination is designed to offer smoother visuals and a more immersive multimedia experience.
The TECNO SPARK 50 Pro will be available in Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Cloud White.

50 MP Sony Camera with FlashSnap Technology
On the imaging front, the SPARK 50 Pro features a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary sensor measuring 1/1.953 inches. TECNO says the larger sensor helps improve light capture, image detail, and low-light performance compared to conventional sensors commonly used in this segment.
The camera system introduces FlashSnap technology, supporting shutter speeds up to 1/10,000 second for capturing fast-moving subjects with reduced motion blur. Additional camera features include Live Photo support, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Extender, Universal Tone technology, and AI-powered image enhancements.
Despite housing a large battery, the SPARK 50 Pro maintains a slim 7.8mm chassis. The device carries IP68 certification, IP69 certification, and Swiss SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance certification. These ratings provide protection against dust ingress, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets.
TECNO has integrated several AI-powered utilities into the smartphone, including Ella AI Assistant, AI Health Assistant, and AI Noise Cancellation for voice calls. Additional connectivity features include FreeLink 2.0 for localized off-grid communication support, 4.5G and 4G Carrier Aggregation, and enhanced network stability in congested areas.
TECNO has not yet revealed regional pricing or availability details for the TECNO SPARK 50 Pro.
