Twitter.com’s mobile team has built a brand new mobile web client from scratch, using only Twitter APIs. You can check out twitter’s new interface for mobile phones by visiting http://mobile.twitter.com from you mobileThe new interface is designed to work for Android, iPhone, Nokia S60 and Palm Web OS phones. Certain features won’t work well for those who will access this new application from BlacBerry.For the BlackBerry issue twitter team said “we haven’t done all the fine tuning yet.” I guess they will soon do all the necessary stuff to make it work perfectly fine on BlackBerry.
Soon all the users of m.twitter.com will be switched to mobile.twitter.com. Twitter Mobile team mentioned on its blog that “As this preview becomes ready for prime-time, we will start switching everyone who uses ‘m’ in phases to automatically receive the new mobile web client.”
