Samsung made its Tizen running Gear 2 smartwatch official at MWC in February and it recently unveiled the device in India. Now, the device has received its very first software update. The new update brings a couple of new features, as our title suggests.
The update brings new Training Effect and a Sleep monitor feature. Along with the couple of features we mentioned, there are the usual stability improvements along with minor tweaks. The update weighs in at 24 MB and the update can be downloaded through your compatible Galaxy smartphone.
The Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear Fit and the Galaxy S5 go on sale globally today and Samsung has made sure their latest smartwatch owners get the new update just as they buy it. So, anyone out here who has bought a Gear 2 or plans to buy one?
