Yesterday we saw the price confirmation of the iPhone 5 from one of the Apple’s distributors in India.
We also saw Aircel going ahead and teasing the smartphone with a ‘Coming Soon’ tag but today Airtel India has gone a step ahead of Airtel and has put the smartphone on Pre-order.
The iPhone 5 is now up for pre-order on Airtel Shop at Rs.45,550 for the 16 GB version. Currently only the Black model is available for pre-order over Airtel’s site.
Interestingly, Airtel has quoted the availability date as 11-11-2012 whereas we ourselves heard from the distributor of Apple that the 4-inch iOS 6 running smartphone will go on sale from November 2.
There is no mention of the 32 GB or 64 GB version of the Apple iPhone 5 from Airtel nor is there any detail available regarding any offers or plans that Airtel might bundle along with the smartphone.
