Nothing has officially revealed the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) ahead of its launch on 7th July. The Phone (4b) introduces the company’s new ‘b’ Series, designed to bring the signature Nothing experience to a wider audience while maintaining the brand’s transparent design language and distinctive visual identity.
Hybrid Design Inspired by the Phone (4a) Series
According to Nothing, the Phone (4b) combines design elements from both the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro.
The smartphone adopts the refined unibody construction of the Phone (4a) Pro while retaining the compact Glyph Bar from the standard Phone (4a), creating what the company describes as a balanced evolution of its design language.
The transparent rear panel continues to showcase the phone’s internal layout, with components arranged to emphasize symmetry beneath the crystal-clear back.
Glyph Bar Returns
The Phone (4b) features a redesigned Glyph Bar positioned alongside the rear cameras. It consists of six vertically arranged white LED segments, accompanied by a red recording indicator that lights up while capturing videos.
The Glyph Bar supports several interactive functions, including:
- Glyph Progress
- Camera timer countdown
- Camera shutter indicator
- Recording status indicator
Nothing says the Phone (4b) has been engineered with improved durability and everyday comfort in mind. Key design improvements include:
- Enhanced structural durability for better resistance to daily wear
- Soft, skin-friendly finish for improved in-hand comfort during extended use
The company aims to combine its distinctive industrial design with improved practicality for everyday users.
Nothing Phone (4b) Launch Date (Global/India)
