Last month, Huawei sub-brand Honor rolled out an OTA update for Honor View10 in India that brought along Face Unlock feature to the phone. Now, Honor has started rolling out another OTA update that brings the Face Unlock feature to Honor 9 Lite as well.
The OTA update has started rolling out to Honor 9 Lite in India, and, Honor has said that the roll-out of the update will complete by March 5, 2018. In case you are unaware, the Face Unlock feature uses face recognition to unlock the smartphone so that you don’t have to use the fingerprint scanner or type in your security PIN.

The Honor 9 Lite was launched in India last month. It is powered by Kirin 659 SoC and comes in two variants – 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, and, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The former costs you ₹10,999 whereas the latter sets you back by ₹14,999.
