OnePlus India has expanded its affordable smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the OnePlus N6x. The latest OnePlus N Series smartphone focuses on long battery life, everyday performance, durable construction, and AI-powered software features. Key highlights include a 7,000 mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex, IP64-rated ArmorShell design with aluminium frames, military-grade durability, 120 Hz display, OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, and more.
The launch follows OnePlus’ recent reaffirmation of its long-term commitment to the Indian market, where the company has confirmed plans to continue expanding its product portfolio. The OnePlus N6x is the latest addition to the brand’s entry-level smartphone range, while the company has already launched the OnePlus N6 last month.
One of the major features of the smartphone is the 7,000 mAh battery. According to OnePlus, the large battery is designed to deliver up to 2.5 days of usage on a single charge and retains more than 80% battery health after 1,600 charging cycles, which the company says is equivalent to around 6 years of use. The company has also included bypass charging, reverse wired charging, and adaptive Night Charging to improve battery efficiency and longevity.
The OnePlus N6x features an ArmorShell design with reinforced corners, hardened glass, an aluminium frame and internal cushioning. It carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating. According to OnePlus, the device has been tested for drops, dust, salt corrosion and extreme temperatures.
Powering the device is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex SoC, paired with up to 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128 GB storage, and support for microSD expansion up to 2 TB. The smartphone also includes a 5,300 mm² vapour chamber cooling system to improve thermal performance during gaming and heavy workloads.
The smartphone sports a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM). For photography, the OnePlus N6x features a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera, along with AI-powered tools such as AI Portrait Glow for improved low-light portraits.
