Today, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and MD of Reliance Industries, announced its Welcome plan for its Jio 4G services. All voice calls made within India will be available absolutely free for all Jio customers. There will be no roaming charges on it. In addition to that, users can also enjoy fast 4G data services up to 4GB daily, after that the speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps. The plan further includes the free usages of the bundled premium Jio Apps.
While announcing this amazing Offer at the AGM, Mukesh Ambani said that every Indian user gets a chance to experience its high-speed internet using its Jio 4G data services. Jio ensures the users to get superior voice quality for calls to other networks. Every user gets to experience its Jio’s apps ecosystem. Furthermore, by offering these free services will simply let Reliance Jio to test its network stability, and improve the services through feedback from the users.
The Reliance Jio Welcome Plan will be starting from 5th September 2016 till 31st December 2016. After that, reliance will finally begin its tariff plans while still keeping the unlimited voice calls all over India free without roaming charges.
It seems like the free Welcome Plan by Jio is an extension of its incredible Jio Preview Offer which was only limited to a few 4G-enabled smartphones then expanded further to all 4G smartphones.
Reliance Jio has stormed the Indian telecom market by offering its Jio services for no cost. This could be a tough time for other telecom giants like Vodafone, Idea, and Airtel.
