OnePlus 3 which has been making quite a buzz lately on the Internet has been spotted on TENAA. The handset being listed on TENAA means it’s now certified and has got green signal for sale in China. The TENAA listing also reveals specs of OnePlus 3.
As you can see from the image above, OnePlus seems to have done away with the Sandstone finish for the OnePlus 3, the device now flaunts a metal body. At the front is the home button which houses a fingerprint scanner. There’s also an 8 MP secondary camera on the front. At the back is the OnePlus logo along with 16 MP primary camera and LED flash below it.
The Alert Slider which was present on OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X has also made its way on the OnePlus 3 as well, it can be found on the left side of the device. The volume rocker is also located on the left side of the phone, whereas, the power button and SIM card slot are located on the right side. The design of the OnePlus 3 is in line with the press renders that surfaced online last week.
The specs revealed on the TENAA listing include Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4 GB RAM, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, 5.5-inch Full-HD AMOLED display, 64 GB internal storage, 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera and 3000 mAh battery. The device is 7.3 mm thin, weighs 160 grams and is available in light gray, black and gold colors.
The TENAA listing saying 4 GB RAM creates a little confusion here as the GFXBench listing mentions OnePlus 3 with 6 GB RAM and 5-inch Full-HD display. By this, what we assume is that there might be a possibility that OnePlus is planning to reveal two models of the OnePlus 3, one with 4 GB RAM and 5-inch display whereas the other with 6 GB RAM and 5.5-inch display. However, it might be too early to comment on anything. Though, we expect more details to surface online till the OnePlus 3 is officially unveiled.
According to a recent rumor, the OnePlus 3 is expected to be unveiled on June 14. It will be unveiled in VR and the launch can be experienced by everyone who were lucky enough to claim the free Loop VR headset that OnePlus gave away recently.
