We have had several leaks of the Galaxy S5 mini and now, we finally get to see the device in a picture. The popular leaker @evleaks got a picture showing off the Galaxy S5 mini via a tip. The picture shows the supposed Galaxy S5 mini on Samsung’s official UK webpage.
The image shows us the Samsung device named Galaxy S5 Dx. The device features the model number SM-G800, which has been always known as the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini. The Galaxy S5 Dx or the Galaxy S5 mini, whatever Samsung plans to call it features an identical design to the Galaxy S5. The hardware seems to be the same but the heart rate monitor we saw on the S5 is missing from the back. The device will also add more colors – White, Black, Blue, Gold, Green and Yellow. The picture of the device is alongside the Gear Fit and Gear 2, which means it should be compatible with them.
We have seen the Galaxy S5 leak through case makers, we know the specs of the device as well. Just yesterday, we reported that the Galaxy S5 mini will supposedly come with a 4.47-inch display. We don’t know yet when Samsung plans to make the S5 mini official but as always, we’ll let you know when that happens. Till then, you can check out the expected specs of the device below:
